Happy 2nd Birthday!!
Well, a lot has been happening since the last post! Sara Chana really starting running, climbing, and getting into everything a typical toddler does. It sure makes sense given the fact that she is indeed a 2 year old now!! Sara Chana likes to do things very independently - from feeding herself with a spoon and bowl to climbing onto the couch and more. She is speaking sentences and really makes sure to get her message across to us. In the last 6 months, she grew 3 and a half inches, and really looks like a "big girl!" Her feet also grew, and Sara Chana has been getting some new shoes: sandals, new gym shoes, and even a second pair of Shabbos shoes.
Sara Chana has been very excited about her birthday gifts that she's been opening up (we've been stretching out giving them to her to help her appreciate each gift and not get overwhelmed. She still has a couple that she hasn't yet discovered.) She had a great time at her birthday party at "Auntie Sarah's" playgroup. She loved getting to share her cookies with her friends! We also had a special cake for Sara Chana's birthday that we ate that Shabbos. Sara Chana enjoyed it immensely!
The weather has been a mixture of chilly and mildly nice until last week when temperatures rocketed into the 80s and 90s! (A welcomed experience since we knew it wouldn't last!) Sara Chana had a chance to play in her pool and after she warmed up to it, she couldn't get enough! Sara Chana also has been getting more involved in imaginative play. One day, she wanted to play with the things in her play kitchen, and said to us, "I'm going to go cook for Shabbos, okay?!" It was adorable!

Too cute! Love the pictures, it looks like she has been having a lot of fun! I miss my niece!
Also, inquiring food bloggers want to know...who made the cake? It's pretty!

The beautiful cake was made by the Albertson's kosher bakery! I had been wanting to compare an Alberson's cake to a Jewel cake since we moved, and this was a perfect opportunity. It's cute, too because it was a small, "personal" size cake (about 4-6 slices depending on how small the slice was). Jewel (as of the time we moved) did not have anything in that size.

She's so precious! She sounds like she has quite a personality too. Very cute about cooking for Shabbos! :)
Hope you're enjoying life in Seattle.
