Happy New Year to all, and to all a Good Update
Its been a busy and happening time in the Marshak household. Sara Chana is having a great time at school. She is learning new songs for the holidays, brining home beautiful artwork, and developing her climbing, jumping, and active play skills as well as her social skills. Sara Chana really enjoyed Rosh Hashana. She dipped her apples in honey, sang her songs from school, and got to wear two new Yontif dresses. Very exciting. She also helped us cook for yontif; she loves "helping" us prepare food in the kitchen.
Sara Chana also has become known as "The Buckler!" If there's a buckle attached to anything, (ie: the carseats, swing, Snugli carrier, nursing pillow, etc.) she will find it, and buckle it. We have found, on multiple occasions, Temima Liba's car seat buckled, and then we have to unbuckle it to put her in.
Sara Chana has also taken a great liking to dancing to music. She jumps up and down and waves her arms. It's adorable. She also began wearing ponytails and pigtails to school, now that her hair is long enough for them. It looks adorable on her.
Temima Liba is just started smiling and is growing well. At her two month check-up, she weighed 10 lbs (exactly) and was 22 inches, Thank G-d. She has started getting some "tummy time" and is picking up her head and turning it side to side. She also scoots a little on her tummy.
Thank G-d Sara Chana really loves Temima Liba. She likes to hug and kiss her, and asks to hold her often. She also likes to "show" Temima Liba how her toys work. Sara Chana also likes to push Temima Liba in the baby swing, and helps quiet her and sing to her when she starts to cry.
