Getting caught up...
Since we last left off... the snow has melted, thank G-d, and much has happened!
We had a wonderful visit with Grandma and Zaidy back in January. Then we traveled to see Uncle Scott, Aunt Tamar, and cousins Hadassah and David for David's upsherin - first haircut. It was so wonderful to see them. Shortly later, we had a wonderful visit from Shoshana's good friend, Eti. Not too long after Eti's visit, it was the holiday of Purim, and we had a great time distributing our "Milwaukee-themed" Shalach Manos in our Milwaukee-themed costumes (see pictures below for details). After Purim, we went to Chicago for the Bar Mitzvah of Moshe's cousin, Moshe Carron. It was wonderful to see most of Moshe's extended family (in addition to close family, as well) and a lot of Shoshana's family, too, throughout the course of the action-packed weekend. Once we returned, it was full-force ahead Pesach cleaning and preparing. As you can see, we've been just a little bit busy!
During that time, Temima Liba had her 6 month check up, and weighed in at 14 lbs. and 25.5 inches! Sara Chana had a mid-year weight check and was 21 lbs, 13 oz.
Temima Liba had been doing a bit more rolling - both from front to back as well as back to front (although it seems like only on the left side - going back and forth, not really rolling around yet.)
She is also getting up on her hands and knees from a tummy position and starting to rock a bit. When we put her in a sitting position, she can stay there for a considerable amount of time, and can go from a sitting to a laying position. It's very exciting to see!
Sara Chana loves to sing, dance, color, and be extremely active! Her imaginative/creative play has really taken off as well, as she will now pretend with her toys and stuffed animals. She is an excellent older sister, and she encourages Temima Liba's development, such as clapping and saying "yay!" when TLM does something new. TLM is starting to pick up some of the baby sign language and copy it back. When she does, she is met with much applause from her parents and her older sister.
Enjoy the video and some new pictures!
