In Which we see Mt. Rainier
Since we last left off...
We have had wonderful visitors, the girls have grown and gained new skills, and so much has happened.
Uncle Stu and Aunt Hillary came over Memorial Day weekend , and we had a great time with them. We went to the zoo, and SCM had a wonderful time identifying all the animals.
TLM has progressed from crawling to sitting up from laying down to pulling up to a stand, and is now cruising! She has been very motivated to "run" after her big sister. She is eating a lot of different foods now, too, and has been taking a liking to chicken, challah, and yogurt (not all in one meal) :).
Throughout May and June, we helped organize and fundraise for the annual dinner for Sara Chana's school, TDS. The dinner, thank G-d, was a smashing success!! It was definitely worth all the hard work. G-d Willing, Shoshana will be teaching there next year, too.
Sara Chana is 3 now! We celebrated her birthday in school, with her friends. She had a great time - we had cupcakes and sang happy birthday, and Sara Chana got a special hat!
She now weighs 24 lbs and is 35 in... steadily growing at her own pace, thank G-d.
This week and last week, Sara Chana has been in day camp and is having a great time!!
Grandma and Zaidy came for a visit, too, and we all had a very nice time bonding. We took a trip to Mt. Rainier, and it was spectacular!! Mah Rabu Ma'asecha Hashem- how many and wonderous are the works of Hashem! What an awe inspiring experience!
Temima Liba has started talking a little bit - babbling a lot and sometimes there are some sounds that may be words! We've heard: "Abba," "Papa," "Yeh," "'Ello" (while holding a toy phone), "ah dah" (while doing the baby sign for "all done"), "Aya Aya" (which we think is Sara Chana), "Yay," and "Yaya!"
Enjoy the pics and video!

Super cute pictures! I miss you all!
My entry for the caption contest:
"It's old so it's mine now," - what Temima Liba is thinking as she grabs what Sara Chana is playing with.

Caption Comment: Give me the block and nobody gets hurt.. I might be back with a better one... I loved the video - where Sarah Chana's all like "I'm not done!" and seconds later, she is... so her! and I loved the Temimah Liba pic with the fleeing villagers... time to do a retelling of Godzilla... instant Purim costume and way to avoid creepy people... good work on the blog. I always love reading it and vicariously experiencing your life
