Double your Birthdays, Double your Fun
It's summertime! And that means... 2 birthdays! We began the summer with Sara Chana turning 5, and now we are only a week away from Temima Liba turning 3. So, we chose a time in between the two to celebrate both together. We had a birthday party at the park with the girls' classmates and friends. We even had special out of town visitors in during the week of the party, and enjoyed the company of Saba and Savta, Bubbie Evie, and Aunt Brenda. Good times were had by all!
The girls continued to enjoy their visit with our guests that week. They also went to day camp this summer and had such a great time.
We took the girls bowling for the first time, and they really enjoyed! We had planned to get the bumpers put up, but we didn't know about the "ramp" that the bowling alley also offered for kids to use. We had anticipated teaching them to bowl "granny style" as we had as kids, but this ramp was so much better! It positions the ball so they can push it down the ramp and it then gathers enough momentum to make it down the aisle to the pins.
TLM got her first haircut, too, this summer! It was time, since her hair was always falling in her face, and she wouldn't keep her ponytails in... so - now she has bangs. And she looks oh-so-cute!
SCM was excited for her sister, too. She kept telling everyone, "Look at my sister! Doesn't she look cute?"
Stay tuned for the pictures!
