Officially Outnumbered (in a good way)
With much joy and gratitude to Hashem, we announce the birth of the newest member of the Marshak family - Miriam Nechama Marshak! She was born on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011 at 2:02 PM. She weighed in at 6 lbs, 12.5 oz, and measured 18 inches long.
Miriam Nechama is named after Moshe's great aunt, whose Hebrew name was Miriam, and the name Nechama means comfort. We added on the name Nechama as a comfort for our family after the loss of Papa Jack, and that our daughter should be a source of comfort for all of klal yisrael during trying times. The word "nechama" also appeared several times over the haftara reading this past Shabbos, the day of her naming.
Big sisters Sara Chana and Temima Liba cannot contain their excitement over their new sister! It is very cute to watch them interact.
