Springtime!
Back in February, we took a wonderful trip to Chicago. We so enjoyed getting to see everyone, and having a chance for MNM to meet some more of the family. While we were there, we also had the joy of being present at Aunt Hillary's engagement! Welcome to the family, Uncle David!
SCM's reading has been getting better and better. She now reads to her sisters, us, and any guests who will listen. It is super helpful to have her read to her sisters when we are busy cooking or the like, and it is such a pleasure to hear her improve each day.
TLM has developed quite a sense of humor, and has her own way with words. A few memorable TLM quotes: SCM and TLM were playing a pretend game about being fairies. SCM was saying that she was a fairy, but that TLM didn't have a "Fairy name" and therefore couldn't be a fairy. TLM's response: "Yes, I'm a fairy because Hashem said I'm a fairy."
Another time we were driving in the car, and SCM was concerned about us getting lost because we were going someplace we hadn't been to before. TLM said, "We won't get lost because the GPS will show us the way."
Purim was tons of fun! SCM dressed up as a butterfly/fairy, TLM dressed up as a bee (thanks, Uncle Stu-Stu for the costumes!), and MNM was a M&M. We couldn't resist.
MNM has been giggling, and just started rolling and it is very exciting! She gets herself across the room, but has not figured out yet how to get back the other direction.
Pesach was beautiful. We enjoyed having Uncle Stu-Stu come for the first half, in addition to our "local" guests. The girls enjoyed the seders and had so many wonderful songs to share. On Chol HaMoed, we went on fun trips each day: Bainbridge Island, Northwest Trek, Getting our portraits taken in Tacoma, and the Family Fun Center.
Chol HaMoed was particularly exciting for SCM who lost her first tooth! (in the natural way , as opposed to the ones she bumped out a couple of years ago...)
Enjoy the latest pictures and videos!
